[Operational Impact] Infoblox Platform & DFP Scheduled Maintenance

Scheduled for Jun 20, 00:00 UTC  -  Jun 21, 23:55 UTC

Scheduled

Infoblox Platform and DNS Forwarding Proxy (DFP) services in North America (https://portal.infoblox.com) will undergo scheduled maintenance starting June 20, 2026. Customers can control the timing of these updates or defer them for up to 4 weeks using the 'Schedule Software Updates' feature in the Infoblox Portal.

Impacts:
- NIOS & NIOS-X servers connected to Infoblox Portal may intermittently report an unhealthy status for up to 5 minutes.

- DFP service running on NIOS servers will experience service interruption of approximately 30 seconds. In limited cases, this interruption may extend up to 5 minutes. Customers with forwarders configured on NIOS will observe DNS traffic failing over to those forwarders. Customers with forwarders not configured on NIOS will observe DNS resolution using the default paths through root hints.

Kindly refer to the scenario#2 in the following KB article (000007757)for details on the DFP on NIOS fallback mechanism. https://support.infoblox.com/s/article/How-does-DNS-fallback-mechanism-work-for-BloxOne-DNS-Forwarding-Proxy

The DFP service on NIOS-X servers will not be impacted by this maintenance.
