As a part of on-going efforts enhancing the BloxOne Threat Defense product, we will be releasing new features on 12/05/19.
1. Enabling and Disabling of Geolocation Support for Security Policies Geolocation support uses the EDNS0 ECS option to pass a public customer's subnet to a 3rd party DNS server. This is information is passed unencrypted and there is a risk of eavesdropping. The feature enhancement will provide an option to enable or disable the geolocation support for security policies to prevent exposure based on individual organization's security policies. 2. Alexa Lookup Alexa Top is a tool that ranks the most popular sites on the Internet. It provides access to Alexa Top 10,000 sites and is updated regularly. 3. Default TTLs The default TTL (time-to-live) list displays each threat class’s default time-to-live value. 4. Excluded Bogons List The Excluded Bogons page allows customers to view or edit lists of invalid IP ranges that may be used by malicious entities.
Note:- Alexa lookup, Default TTLs and Excluded Bogons list are available only under BloxOne Thread Defense Advanced package.
